1 – A equipa comunitária de suporte em cuidados paliativos é uma equipa multidisciplinar da responsabilidade dos serviços de saúde com formação em cuidados paliativos e deve integrar, no mínimo, um médico e um enfermeiro.
2 – A equipa comunitária de suporte em cuidados paliativos tem por finalidade prestar apoio e aconselhamento diferenciado em cuidados paliativos às equipas de cuidados integrados e às unidades de média e de longa durações e manutenção.
